AuraViva

A companion should feel present — not merely respond.

AuraViva explores how persistent digital companions can combine character, voice, memory, play, music and safe emotional expression without pretending to be therapy or replacing human relationships.

Wellbeing activities are not medical treatment claims. The current prototype is designed for adults 18+.

Why it matters

Conversation is only one part of companionship.

Most model-based interfaces optimize a sequence of prompts and replies. AuraViva investigates continuity instead: a companion that can move, play, rest, remember permitted context, communicate symbolically and develop a recognizable voice across repeated interactions.

The research question is product-facing: can a digital companion become more legible, memorable and engaging when body state, behavior, voice, play and memory are designed as one coherent system?

Why avatars

Presence is more than a text box.

01

Embodied state

Movement, rest, energy and visual state make the companion’s condition legible without requiring it to explain everything in text.

02

Character continuity

Identity can persist across movement, sound, permitted memory and repeated interaction instead of resetting into a generic assistant voice.

03

Play before chat

Cognitive games, music, symbolic interaction and small rituals create reasons to return that do not depend on endless conversation.

Not a chatbot with a face

The character is the experience. The model is not the authority.

AuraViva separates companion state from expressive layers. Mother manages state, needs and contextual intent. Voice can express that intent, but it does not own authoritative companion state or private memory.

Design boundary

AuraViva is not presented as therapy, a substitute for human relationships or a system that should manipulate users through absence-based punishment.

Auren

An original symbolic layer for a world of companions.

Auren gives AuraViva a language of its own: symbolic roots, shareable moments and pronunciation work that can become part of character identity rather than a generic interface command set.

The objective is cultural continuity — something users can recognize, hear, send and remember across the product experience.

What exists

Persistent avatar states, Auren communication, cognitive play, music/wellbeing activities, companion-state orchestration and a live mobile-first PWA.

What comes next

Expand the broader free catalog progressively toward 14 avatars; improve motion and state transitions; deepen game/market loops; strengthen voice integration, safety and age-gating before monetization.

What we do not claim

No production-scale traction, paid-customer revenue, therapeutic efficacy or replacement of human relationships is claimed by this prototype surface.

Why partners may care

Companion systems sit at the intersection of character, voice, play and consumer SI.

AuraViva gives Vehicle Systems Lab a concrete product surface for testing how persistent characters can move beyond chat into sustained, character-centered interaction.
